  3. What are some potential signs of sexual abuse in children? Change in personality, new fears, regressive behaviors such as bed-wetting, self-harm (cutting, risky behavior), asking vague questions or making vague statements about topics such as secrets, unusual ‘games’, or adult behaviors

  4. The actual extent of child sexual abuse is unknown because many victims choose not to disclose or report their experiences.

  5. Most victims know and trust their abusers (family members, church members, teachers, etc)
